Would you spend $20 to support a local business with a Cash Mob?

I did last night! It was great, I had a lot of fun and I loved that the turn out was so big. They picked a good spot to do it –  I'd love to see Books N Things doing well and staying open.

I think you really need to keep your money right here in town. Stores here have been empty for a long time. Something like this could help them back.

Yeah, definitely. It helps the whole community and gets the money moving.

Maybe, I saw it last night, it looked like fun. I like to support local businesses.

I suppose it's good for the economy, but it really depends on the store they're going to do it at.

It sounds like it would be fun. I think it would bring more awareness of a business and help generate traffic for that store. It sounds like a win-win.

I went to the Cash Mob last night. I like supporting local business whether I'm at home or traveling. I already emailed two business associations back home with the idea.

Sounds like a good idea, but as a student I don't have $20 to spend. I'd like to be a part of it but I can't afford it. $10? I could do that – that's more realistic.

It think that's something I'd participate in; I'm very supportive of local business. I think it could give a new business a chance to jump-start.

Absolutely, I'm totally in favor of it. I love the idea of shopping local and supporting businesses. I think it would be great to do it with the farmers market too. Nothing bad can come of this – it's a no-brainer.
