Should towns be more strict about fireworks?

Photo:

Yes, I do think they should be more strict. My parents live on Elm Street and they are kept awake most nights. People have to work the next day; it's not respectful. There has to be some rules about lighting them off in close proximity to homes.

I think with the law, yes. They need to have more restrictions on who can buy them. In general, for towns, I think as long as they have restrictions and people abide by them, fireworks are okay.

They go off around three in the morning sometimes on Greenleaf Avenue. It'd be nice if they didn't do it. Holidays is one thing, but during the week is another.

Yes. They should. They go off all night. They get us out of bed at one or two in the morning. I don't see the law being followed. Towns don't enforce it enough.

I don't see anything wrong with fireworks. It's the people that use them that's the problem.

No way. I think they are doing a great job. I think fireworks are beautiful and fun entertainment. It's the families' responsibility to keep it safe.

Absolutely. I'd say 10 p.m. on weekends, 9 p.m. on weekdays.

I say no. It took us forever to get it legal. People just need to be more responsible. They gotta get it out of their system for the first year.

No. I think whatever they are doing now is okay. If people are stupid enough to get hurt, it's their fault.

Give it a year; see how it goes. It's new. In town, though, I think it [the curfew] should be 10 p.m. during the week, and on the weekends it should be 11 p.m. I think it's going to die down.
