Poland candidates to hold forum

POLAND — A special election to fill vacant seats on the selectboard in Poland has been called for Monday, March 4.

There are three seats to be filled. Walter Gallagher and Sandra Knowles are candidates for one position and Michelle Arsenault, James Fernald, Janice Kimball, Lawrence Moreau and Stanley Tetenman are seeking to be elected to the two remaining positions.

All of these candidates will participate in a forum on Thursday, February 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the conference room of the Poland Town Office. The meeting will be televised on the local public access channel.

The forum is presented by Friends of Ricker Library, who invite voters to meet and question the candidates before Election Day.

Questions may be asked in person at the event or may be emailed or phoned in that evening when the web address and phone numbers will be published on the TV screen.
