Driver skids, strikes oncoming vehicle on Route 117

ICY —   Jennifer Jones, 31, of Norway, was driving her 2006 Toyota Highlander on Route 117 toward Lake Road in Norway around 7:20 a.m. on February 8 when she skidded through the stop sign and struck an oncoming vehicle, a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, driven by Irwin Dunham, 41, of Livermore Falls, reported Norway Police Chief Robert Federico.  According to Federico, both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident and neither of them were injured. Federico said Dunham's airbag had deployed so PACE Ambulance responded as precaution.
