Snow on road sends car into pole

SLIPPERY ROAD —   Lisa Ledoux, 25, Norway, was traveling east on Pleasant Street in Oxford around 12 p.m. on February 8 when she lost control of her 2008 Chevy Aveo on the snowy road and struck a utility pole on the passenger side, said Oxford Police Lieutenant Michael Ward. According to Ward, Ledoux complained of pain after the accident, but refused to be transported to the hospital. Ward said Ledoux had one passenger, Kristin Wands, 29, of Auburn, who was not injured in the accident. According to Ward, the vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Russels and Sons Towing of Norway.
