Airman K. Isley

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Air Force Airman Kyle T. Isley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Isley is the son of Maureen Isley of West Paris. He is a 2010 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris.

National Guard

AUGUSTA — Brig. Gen. Brent M. Boyles, Assistant Adjutant General for the Maine Army National Guard, announces the promotion to the rank specified below for the following Soldiers: Jared Lanham of Casco, SPC, Company B, 3/172d Infantry (Mountain) and Calahan Mccue of Denmark, PFC, 251ST Engineer Company (SAPPER). Soldiers were promoted in July.
