West Paris Girl Scout with a big heart

To the Editor:

The West Paris Food Pantry would like to thank Kristina Wilson for her community service. She placed collection boxes for the food pantry in different areas of West Paris, and even wrapped the boxes with decorative Christmas paper which was a special touch.

When all of the donated items were collected, Kristina and her mom delivered seven boxes to the pantry. When asked if she would like to sort through the food to stock the shelves, she was eager to help.

God bless you, Kristina, for a job well done and thank you to all who donated food to make this food drive a success.

Kristina is a Girl Scout with Troop 1350 in West Paris. She received the Bronze Award for her effort with this project.

The food pantry is open the first and third Tuesday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m. West Paris residents are invited to come once a month.

Donations can be sent to: West Paris Baptist Church, P.O. Box 57, West Paris, ME 04289. Call the church at 674-3205 if you need help.
