Treated like family

To the Editor:

Several weeks ago Elise Quinn passed on. In addition to a large related family she left behind a smaller unrelated family: specifically the staff at the Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

The folks on the staff at the NRLC cared for Elise during the last several years of her life. She was treated like family, personally, socially and medically. The Center became her home in the fundamental sense and she cared for it and its members deeply.

If Elise could reappear for a brief moment, we are certain that she would pause to give every staff member a big hug.
