Supporting Mary Lou

To the Editor:

Mary Lou St. John is running to represent District 95 in the Maine State Legislature. District 95 includes Norway, Waterford, West Paris, and Greenwood. I am enthusiastic about her candidacy.

I have known Mary Lou since we attended elementary school together in West Paris. This area is her home, and she knows what difficulties people face.

When I asked her why she was running for state representative, she told me she knew many people who were trying to get by in hard situations, and she hopes she can help them by representing them well in the legislature.

I am positive she will be an important voice for the people of District 95.

My wife and I have driven her from place to place here in West Paris as she canvassed the town. I have listened to her talk with people. Because of her, I now know more about West Paris than I ever knew, and I was born here and have lived here nearly all my life.

She is open, friendly and honest, and expresses her interest in helping people. She always tells people how she can be contacted, and she has already made contacts to find answers to questions they had.

She is a person who understands the needs of all of us.

Please vote for Mary Lou St. John for our representative to the state legislature. I am certain you will be making a great choice for District 95.
