Fair Committee hits a home run

To the Editor:

I wanted to write and extend a thank you to the Oxford County Fair Committee on a job well done. This year's Oxford County Fair was a wonderful event for our community.

In challenging economic times the fair was able to lower their prices which provided more families the opportunity to participate in the festivities. Although the prices were lowered, the quality for the fair certainly was not.

This year's fair seemed to exceed expectations in all aspects from the events, to vendors and, of course, the entertainment. This year's fair seemed to bring back the true purpose of a county fair, and in my opinion the committee hit a home run!

Thank you to all those involved for all your hard work and dedication making this year's fair such a success.
