Pet health needs

To the Editor:

Those of us living in Western Maine are extremely fortunate to have the Rozzie May Animal Alliance Feline Fix It Wagon, a mobile spay/neuter unit designed specifically for cats, visiting the Oxford area once a month.

Their goal is to reduce the number of homeless animals by offering this program. Rozzie May Animal Alliance is a nonprofit group based in Conway, NH. Licensed veterinarians and technicians travel throughout NH and Western Maine offering low cost spay and neutering services for cats.

The Feline Fix It Wagon offers a brief exam, rabies vaccine, flea treatment, nail trim and ear cleaning as part of the complete package.

During these difficult times, the family pet's health needs are often overlooked. Information and scheduling is through their website, http://www.rozziemay.org/
