St. John for representative

To the Editor:

Representative Mary Lou St. John - I like the sound of that!

My former co-worker at Community Concepts is running for Maine House District 95 to represent Norway, Waterford, West Paris and Greenwood.

Having worked with Mary Lou for over 30 years, I know her as one who takes initiative when she sees a need. She created the Resource Page in our “Community Cares” monthly newspaper, compiling a list of local, regional and state services with contact numbers and addresses - the only one of its kind and widely used.

Also, Mary Lou fielded calls from citizens and local officials who needed further help navigating the maze of services to find the individual solution - be it a ride to a medical appointment, emergency heating assistance, a home repair or connected to other service organizations.

If you want someone who will listen to your concerns and tirelessly work on your behalf in the Legislature, I can’t think of anyone better to send to Augusta than Mary Lou St. John.
