East-West Highway

To the Editor:

I wish you would publish a map of northern Maine's rail lines and the anticipated course of the proposed East-West Highway.

The idea of Eastport's very deep harbor handling container ships is a good idea. But Cianbro proposing a new highway may be a case of selling us a new pair of pants when all we need is a new notch on our belts, that notch being a rail line from Eastport to northern Maine's existing rail network.
