Appreciation from Otisfield

To the Editor:

Thanks to all who made the first Otisfield community cookout a great success. There were approximately 91 participants who enjoyed the time together eating, visiting and making new friends.

Special thanks to Hal and Rick who have added to their responsibilities as selectpersons to oversee the improvements already made and those planned for the future so that the Otisfield Community Hall will be accessible for use year round and to Dyer's Camps and Cottages for supplying the cooking grills and propane.

It is hoped that next year there will be even more citizens partaking in this function and the many others that are being planned for the Otisfield community.

The next scheduled free community lunch is Wednesday, August 15.

Keep track on the website, the notice boards at the town office and Spurr's Corner Fire Station, the newspapers and general word of mouth of the special activities planned for Otisfield.
