Thank you West Paris

To the Editor:

A big thank you to the Planning Board and the people of West Paris for all the positive consideration on the ordinance brought before the people at our town meeting last Saturday. I hope that this will come again next year and maybe the people will reconsider and give this ordinance a positive vote.

For some reason some people think that they are the reason for this ordinance and that is not how it would work. Yes, the state has an ordinance for every town but they don't reinforce anything.

So, it takes years to make something happen with lots of additional cost to the town that this ordinance would oversee long before a serious situation grew to that size. It is our responsibility to give our select board the power of our town to protect all the people in our town.

Please look around our town and you will see this is a needed item to help protect all of us.
