You missed it!

To the Editor:

In my recent letter to the editor, my point was somehow missed by that left turn you took. It matters not what the private citizens have or own as in concealed weapons, it could have been red boats or red bicycles for all I care.

If the information contained on the Red Boat Owners documents is the same as the information which is on the concealed weapon permits, I would be against offering it to everyone without a need to know.

I wonder if your editorial would have read the same if there were a request for the height, weight, color eyes, birth date, address and name for every editor and information twister of every newspaper/magazine/periodical printed in the state? In my opinion, this is not information reasonable citizens would want out in the general public.

As for your question, "... how long before our right to know has been completely trampled?" Did you ask this when, referring to the Affordable Care Act, a senator made the comment "we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it"? I'll bet you did and I must have missed it.

Unlike most, I stand up for what I believe in, not what some party tells me to believe in. Left turn Clyde!
