Jackson, Fitts engaged

STANDISH — Mr. and Mrs. William and Kimberly Jackson of Standish are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss LaShawna Jackson of Standish, to Michael Fitts, son of Ernest Fitts of South Paris and Kathy Pulkkinen of Norway.

Miss Jackson graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 2010 and is currently in her third year at the University of New England studying Dental Hygiene. She will graduate in 2014.

Mr. Fitts graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in 2009. He is employed at Rowe Ford working as an automotive technician.

The wedding is planned for the summer of 2014.
