To our young people – thank you

What a remarkable group of young people we are fortunate to have in our community.

The Oxford Hills Technical School students who took part in the recent skills challenge.

The students who competed in the district spelling bee.

The young man and his sister who mounted their own community service project to benefit RPC.

The students at Paris Elementary who cook breakfast each week for staff.

The youngsters aspiring to do well and achieve their goals.

And these are just the recent notable accomplishments. Month after month we get news about our young people that makes us proud.

Too often we get mired in the misfortune, bad choices or tragic happenings of our youth.

We need to remember all the wonderful things they do as well and celebrate those.

So to all of you, a "well done" and "thank you" from your community.
