Center Street Dental offers poster contest

AUBURN — Center Street Dental, a family and cosmetic dental office serving the L/A area, is holding their second annual Poster Contest for all K-six Androscoggin County students.

The contest is split into two student categories: Kindergarten through third grade, and fourth through sixth grade, and offers First, Second, and Third place prizes of $500, $250, and $150, respectively, in both categories.

The contest aims to raise awareness for National Children’s Dental Health Month throughout February. Students are asked to create a poster using the theme “Super Smiles” and may drop off submissions either on their school’s campus or at Center Street Dental.

Scholarship prizes will be deposited into an Educational Savings Account created for each individual winner. Submissions are limited to one entry per person and will be judged by Grayling Cunningham, Creative Director at Orbit Hairstyling; Robyn Holman, Curator at Atrium Art Gallery USM L/A Campus and Michael Ranucci, local artist and teacher.

The deadline for submissions is February 28 at 5 p.m., with winners being announced in March.
