Blood drives scheduled

AREA — The American Red Cross will hold several community blood drives during the month of February. All eligible and new blood donors are encouraged to give blood.

Blood donors are needed everyday to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in need. In February, all presenting donors will receive a coupon for a Buy One Get One Free adult lift ticket to a participating mountain for downhill skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing.

Come in to give blood in February and you’ll also receive a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert from Chili’s Grill & Bar. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

• Tuesday, February 5 - Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Wednesday, February 13 - American Legion in Rumford, 12 to 6 p.m.

• Monday, February 18 - Hosanna Church of God in Oxford, 2 to 7 p.m.

• Wednesday, February 20 - American Legion in Naples, 2 to 7 p.m.

• Wednesday, February 20 - Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Tuesday, February 26 - United Parish Congregational Church in Harrison, 1 to 6 p.m.
