Skills Challenge at OHTS Thursday

PARIS — Oxford Hills Technical School is pleased to announce that Skills Challenge 2013 will be held on January 10.

Skills Challenge is a showcase event in which students from all 19 programs participate in skill-specific competitions and demonstrations for parents, community members, and others.

The activities will include cooking or baking specific recipes, a MIG welding contest, and investigating a mock crime scene. The event will begin at 3 p.m. and will be open to the public and parents.

Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided through the generous donation of area businesses. An awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 that evening. For more information, contact Oxford Hills Technical School at 743-7756.
