Grief support programs slated

NORWAY — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice is offering programs this winter to provide information and support to adults and youth in central and western Maine grieving the death of a loved one.

Program sessions help participants understand the grief process, share feelings and experiences and find hope and comfort. All programs are led by trained bereavement volunteers and/or professional grief facilitators and are offered at no cost to participants.

In Norway, Adult "Pathways through Grief" will be offered on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 p.m., for eight weeks beginning January 15. Preregistration is required.

Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice offers grief support programs at various times throughout the year. Contact them at any time to learn about other planned offerings, connect with other community-based bereavement resources, or learn about opportunities to become a trained bereavement volunteer.

For more information, including program locations/dates, or to pre-register, call the Bereavement Department at 777-7740 or 1-800-482-7412.
