Thunders to host brunch with Santa

OXFORD HILLS — The Oxford Hills Thunders were out and about for the annual Christmas Parade twirling and handing out fliers for their upcoming Brunch with Santa. The Thunders are currently actively fundraising for the 2012-2013 competition season and States in May.

Brunch with Santa will be held Sunday, December 9 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the South Paris Fire Department. Price of admission is $5 for ages six and up and $3 for ages five and under. The menu for the event will be eggs, pancakes, sausage, French toast, muffins and a beverage. Santa will arrive at 11:30 with his big red magical bag of goodies for children 12 and under.

There will be several raffles the day of the event; 50/50 and door prizes will be awarded. Raffles will include one cord of dry/split/seasoned/delivered firewood, a huge Christmas stocking filled with goodies, and a gift certificate to a local nail salon. Door prizes will include a framed landscape photo from "In The Moment Photography" and a $50 gift certificate to Agren Appliance.

Come one, come all and experience the joy of Christmas as the Thunders perform team routines, solos and duets for your entertainment. A photo with Santa will be available or bring your camera for as many photo ops as you wish!
