Santa comes to Norway

NORWAY — Santa is coming and Friday, November 30 is your chance to visit with Santa in Norway.

At 5:15 p.m. the fire trucks will lead Santa’s musical sleigh down Norway's Main Street from Cumberland Farms to the Advertiser.

They will then take a left onto Pikes Hill and a right onto Water Street and meet you at Butters Park by the flag pole and Norway’s "Christmas Trees."

The Universalist Church bells will chime and Christmas songs will be provided by the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Chorus led by Dennis Boyd. Help Santa light the Christmas Trees with his magic dust.

After the tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride their sleigh of lights back to the Norway Fire Station. Come join in as Santa and Mrs. Claus will read a story and books will be won by two lucky children. Sit with Santa and have a picture taken and enjoy refreshments.

There is no cost to you for the event; come share the joy of the holiday season with family and friends.
