Santa Visits is gearing up

OXFORD — The Santa Visits Oxford group is now gearing up for the new season. The calendar is filling up fast. This organization brings the spirit of Christmas to Oxford and the Oxford Hills area each year.

The group does tree lightings, visits nursing homes, day care centers, visits with children at different businesses and spreads holiday cheer everywhere it goes. On Christmas Eve night, the group makes stops at a number of locations in the area delivering presents and stockings to the little ones and much more.

If you would like to join Santa and the gang this holiday season, please call 890-4481 or 539-4674 and ask for Jim. If you would like to knit some mittens for the group to give out, it would be appreciated very much.

If you would like to donate your time to do some wrapping for the group, let them know. There are many behind the scenes things that the group could use help with if you have some extra time. Ho, ho, ho, and Merry Christmas from Santa, Mrs. Claus and all the elves.
