REAL KIDS: Baby brother, big sister and Mary Had A Little Lamb

WATERFORD – There are beautiful daylilies, Tiger Lilies and Lilies of the Valley and there is Lillie Andrews an exuberant five-year-old who is very excited that she is getting a baby brother for Christmas. Like the flowers in the fields under a light breeze her head is in constant motion as she answers some questions.

Q: Where do you live?

A: I live in Waterford.

Q: Who are your parents?

A: My mommy is Britt and my daddy is Shaun

Q: Do you have any brothers and sisters?

A: I have a big sister named Kenzie, she is 14 and I have an almost brother.

Q: Do you have any pets?

A: Yes, I have a kitty names Sophie, a turtle names Milo and my dog’s name is Saigy.

Q: Where to you go to school?

A: I go to Waterford Elementary School. I’m in kindergarten and my teacher is Miss Snow. I really like my teacher.

Q: What do you like best about school?

A: That we get to go outside and play.

Q: What do you like least about school?

A: Other kids getting in trouble and not listening. When they get in trouble that have to sit in the Common Chair. I never have to sit in the Common Chair.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do?

A: I like to draw and do craft things. I like cutting the paper with the scissors.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Oodles and noodles.

Q: What is your favorite holiday?

A: I love Christmas because you get presents and there is Santa. Last year we got a squeaky toy for the puppy. I’m going to have a baby brother for Christmas and his name is Luke. I’ll help take care of him and I’m going to be a big sister not just a little sister.

Q: Have you ever gone out of the State of Maine?

A: I’ve been to Massachusetts to see my Grammy.

Q: If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?

A: A ship in the ocean anywhere in the world. That would be pretty fun.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: A singer and sing grown-up songs.

Q: Who is your best friend?

A: My best friend is Emily.

Q: Do you have a favorite book?

A: it’s a Fairy Tale book with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I play with my kitty and I draw pictures.

Q: Do you have a favorite song?

A: Mary Had a Little Lamb and Little Boy Blue. I can sing Mary Had a Little Lamb for you. (Lillie sang this song very well.)

Q: What is special about you?

A: I am beautiful and I have a beautiful singing voice.

Q: Do you have any heroes?

A: Superman and my daddy.
