Diabetes clinic offers A1C Champions®

BRIDGTON — On Tuesday, November 27, from 2-3 p.m. and again from 6-7 p.m., the Bridgton Hospital diabetes clinic will offer a free special on-site presentation called the A1C Champions® Program.

The program is sponsored by Sanofi-Aventis. A1C Champions® presenter Ruth Charne, from Brooklyn, NY, will be the guest speaker, sharing her personal experience with living with diabetes. The A1C Champions® are individuals who successfully control their diabetes and want to help others do the same.

This program will be offered on the hospital campus, from 2-3 p.m. in the conference room located in the former hospital, and from 6-7 p.m. in the new hospital Boardroom. To register for this free presentation please contact Mrs. Elaine Drew, RN/CDE at Bridgton Hospital, 647-6064.
