When There's Just One of Us

One lesson I've learned through my life is about love.

Once it happens, once it's created, it lasts forever.

The good thing about love is there is no end.

t was a hope, it was a possibility, but now I know,

Love is forever, even when there's just one of us.

What a gift that is, to know that love is forever.

I have proof of that every single day.

Here in my heart, in my mind, I feel the love forever.

There is no doubt of that whatsoever.

When we were together our love was a pleasure.

Truly a gift, so worthwhile, even through pain,

Love seems to conquer it all, time after time.

This is where my strength comes from, it's love.

This precious gift is from God, our Father.

Our love does not diminish, it's real, it's lasting.

And now in my later years, with him gone,

I have the proof every day and every night in my heart,

That there is more, there is forever, there is love.

The answer to prayers, the answer to tomorrow,

We're together in love even when there's just one of us.
