Farmers Market issues challenge

NORWAY — Norway Winter Farmers Market is hosting a challenge to the community. Bring nonperishable items to the market on November 10 and 17. Help fill Thanksgiving boxes for hungry families.

Norway Winter Farmers Market will match a full box of goods for every full box donated. South Paris Community Concepts will be distributing the Thanksgiving boxes donated by your generosity.

Norway Winter Farmers Market is excited to announce its newest member. Pat Ingersoll, owner of Moose & Me Dog Training School in Norway, will be at the Farmers Market representing Responsible Pet Care Animal Shelter. Pat will be bringing homemade dog treats and a different shelter animal each week.

All proceeds are going to RPC. She will have information from pet adoption to dog training.

HummingBird Farm, Lollipapa Farm, Mainely Soap, Keep the Faith Farm, Steven’s Family Farm, Pearl’s Farm, Beth’s Pottery, A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm and The Kidd’s Hill Billy Farm are some of the vendors participating.

Products include handmade soaps, baked goods, handcrafted wood products, honey, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, crafted pottery, fresh produce and also serving homemade hot and ready soups and much more.

Norway Winter Farmers Market is located at 479 Main St. in Norway every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
