An Eastport Storm

When the taste of salt is in the air,

Clings to coat and dampens hair;

When the wind's a mixing spoon of sound

And sea leaps wall in white-splashed gown;

Old sailors fling their anchors down —

Secure their boats, leave loose no sail.

Today's the day for tales and ale.
