Whitman Library program slated

BRYANT POND — "Honey Bees and Other Pollinators" will be the topic presented by Suzanne Dunham at the Whitman Memorial Library in Bryant Pond on Thursday, November 8, at 2 p.m.

Suzanne and Brian Dunham have been beekeepers for five years. They live in Greenwood on Brian's family farm where they built their off-the-grid home. They've built a sugar house where they boil maple sap, spin honey and do gluten free baking in their newly-approved commercial kitchen.

Suzanne's talk will describe the practice and mystery of beekeeping, and the importance of honey bees and other pollinators to us and our environment. The program is open to the public at no charge and light refreshments will be served.
