Neon Night planned in Pondicherry Park

BRIDGTON — Last October, more than 150 people came out to experience Pondicherry Park at night. Wearing neon bracelets, necklaces, hats and various other accessories, participants created a neon river winding its way along the trails of the park. The scene was truly magical and people from one to 90 enjoyed the experience.

This year it is hoped that even more people will come out with friends to visit, have fun and support Bridgton’s new downtown park. LEA is asking that a donation of $1 per person be made to help with the continued maintenance of Pondicherry Park. This park was given to the town after Bridgton residents voted to adopt it as their own.

Meet at the Bob Dunning Memorial Bridge behind the Magic Lantern at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 27. Bring your own glow in the dark accessories as quantities available on-site will be limited. Please do not bring pets since the hike travels beyond the designated dog trail.
