Hospital to sponsor on-site book fair

BRIDGTON — Bridgton Hospital will be the host site for a "Books are Fun" Book Fair. The sale runs Wednesday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, November 8, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the main lobby of the hospital.

Books are Fun is a Reader’s Digest Company.

The popular twice-yearly sale provides a huge assortment of great new books, as well as gift items, at savings of up to 70 percent.

That makes this event an ideal time to purchase for year-round gift giving. A percentage of the book sale profits are donated to the Bridgton Hospital Annual Fund, which benefits all areas of patient care at the not-for-profit hospital.
