SOUTH PARIS — Western Maine Veterans’ Advisory Committee, (WMVAC) recently held a raffle to raise funds for the activities program at Maine Veterans' Home, located at 477 High St.

The prize was a hind quarter of beef, cut and packaged per winner request. The beef was supplied by Tilton’s Markets in Buckfield. The winner was Alyce Rich of South Paris, an employee of the facility.

WMVAC works on projects throughout the year to enhance the activities program at the 90-bed facility.
