Boat landing closed for repair

NORWAY — The Lake Pennesseewassee Park boat landing will be closed in October for repair work. The dock will be removed Thursday, October 18, and repair work will begin Monday, October 22.

Over the years the cement planks have been deteriorating and drifting apart. All the cement planks will be replaced.

During this repair, the former boat landing on Crockett Ridge will be available for use.

After the work is done, the boat landing will reopen, but the dock will not be put back in this season. It is hoped that the work will take no more than a week, but again it is weather dependent.

Please make your plans accordingly and thank you for your patience, consideration and cooperation while the access is improved to beautiful Lake Pennesseewassee.
