Suppers

WEST PARIS — A public buffet supper featuring Finnish, American and other ethnic foods, will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 5 p.m. at the Finnish-American Heritage Center on 8 Maple Street in West Paris. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. This is being sponsored by the Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine.

WEST MINOT — A Harvest Supper will be served at the West Minot Grange Routes 119 and 124, on Saturday, October 20, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Supper will include home corned beef, five vegetables, gingerbread with whipped cream and beverage. HARTFORD — The Hartford Community Church is holding a public supper on Saturday, October 20, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Masonic Hall in Buckfield. Donations will be accepted at the door so pay what you wish. This will be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and includes turkey, stuffing, potato and gravy, squash, peas, corn, dinner rolls, homemade pie and beverages. Supper dance

HARRISON — The VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #9328 is sponsoring a public supper from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 at the Harrison VFW Post on Waterford Road (Route 35). The supper, featuring homemade baked beans, cole slaw, casseroles, salads, pies and beverages, is a fundraiser for the Ladies Auxiliary. Donations will be greatly appreciated. The dinner will be followed by a VFW sponsored BYOB dance with music provided by the Road Kingz.

Breakfast

PARIS — A public breakfast will be held on Saturday, October 20, from 7 to 9 a.m. at the VFW Hall on East Main Street in South Paris. This is being sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary.

Karaoke

NORWAY — Karaoke will be held Saturday, October 13 at Stone Smart Post 82 American Legion, 212 Main Street in Norway, from 7-11 p.m. The Old Crows will be providing the music. The Legion kitchen will be open for hot food and desserts.

Ticket auction

PARIS — The Oxford County 4-H is holding a ticket auction on Saturday, November 3, in the cafeteria at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The doors will open at 4 p.m. and the drawing starts at 6 p.m. There will be lots of items.

Sale

NORWAY — The Fare Share Co-op will be holding a yard and bake sale on Saturday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine at 443 Main Street in Norway. Donations can be left at the Fare Share Commons on Friday, October 12, after 9 a.m.
