Writer’s circle for teens begins
NORWAY — Teens in grades nine-12 who enjoy creative writing are encouraged to attend a Writer’s Circle, modeled after adult writing workshops. Wednesday, October 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. is the first Teen Writer’s Circle, held in the Teen Room of the Norway Memorial Library.
Students will work on their own stories, poems, and stage or screen scripts with the goal of having completed, polished work to send to publishers and contests. Teens will write and revise, as well as get and give constructive feedback from their circle peers.
Bring an already written creative piece to the workshop, or take advantage of writer’s block exercises provided to get you started. Each Writer’s Circle will offer ample time to write.
