Raffle fundraiser with WMVAC

PARIS — Western Maine Veterans’ Advisory Committee (WMVAC) recently held a raffle for a new Chevrolet Sonic.

The tickets were sold for a limited time, and if a minimum number of tickets were not sold the alternate prize was $5,000 in cash. The alternate prize of $5,000 went to Joe Jipson of Greene.

The winning ticket was sold at the Auburn VFW post.

WMVAC works throughout the year to support the Activities program at the Maine Veterans' Home in South Paris, a 90-bed multi- level health care facility.
