Domestic Violence Vigil

SUPPORT — Members of the community gathered Monday to support victims of domestic violence in a candlelight vigil. Some were victims themselves, others were advocates against domestic violence. The vigil was sponsored by Safe Voices. Monday, October 1, was the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness month. The community is urged to display purple to end the silence of domestic violence.
