Cats, twin brother and books

NORWAY – Being a twin and the son of veterinarian parents has made growing up interesting and special for 13 year old Luck Haviland.

This bright and articulate eighth grader is name Luck, but it is his broad range of interests and close family, especially his twin brother that make him feel lucky. When he is not engaged with the computer or reading a good book Luck has a lot of pets around him to keep him occupied.

Q: Do you have any brothers and sisters?

A: I have a twin brother and one older brother.

Q: Do you have any pets?

A: Yes, we have eight cats and three dogs and one snake.

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: I go to Oxford Hills Middle School in South Paris where I am in the eighth grade.

Q: What do you like best about school?

A: I like playing in the orchestra.

Q: What do you like least about school?

A: I don’t like taking tests.

Q: What is your favorite thing or things to do?

A: Read a book.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Forbidden chocolate ice cream.

Q: What is your favorite holiday?

A: My favorite holiday is Christmas.

Q: Have you ever gone out of the state of Maine?

A: Yes, I have.

Q: Where did you go?

A: I’ve been to many places, Oregon and almost all the states in between.

Q: Where would you like to go if you could go anywhere in the world?

A: To the diamond beaches of Africa.

Q: If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be when you grow up?

A: I’d like to be a billionaire computer programmer.

Q: Who is your best friend?

A: Gem, he is my twin brother.

Q: Do you have a favorite book?

A: No, there are too many good books to pick one.

Q: What is your favorite television show?

A: The Big Bang Theory.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: Yes, playing the piano and violin.

Q: Do you have a favorite song?

A: No, I don’t.

Q: What is special about you?

A: My name – Luck.

Q: Do you have any heroes?

A: Yes, Nikolas Tesla, he was Serbian-American inventor. He invented DC power and the Tesler Coil.
