Naughty or Nice

There's something that bothers me,
And I know it's not just me.
The question is about how women dress
And how they expose their private areas.
It seems to me that women have had bosoms
Since the beginning of time.

Nowadays they are openly displayed
With no shame, no cover to speak of,
And I have to ask "what happened to women?"
How did things get to this point, who is to blame?
My own thought is the Designers,
But it's the women who bought those designs too.

There are still some properly clothed individuals,
And I give them credit for their decency.
If women would refuse to buy the fashions
That cheapen women in every way,
The designers would have to change their ways.
Now I ask "Ladies, what are you thinking?"

I know I am not alone in my opinion,
I know there are many who are shocked.
It seems as though it's time for women to take charge
And demand respect, maybe some flare, yes,
But clothes that are decent, comfortable and
Above all, defining who we really are.
