Goulet family benefit planned

MECHANIC FALLS — A Goulet Family Benefit Dinner and Dance will be held Friday, March 8 at the American Legion Post 150 in Mechanic Falls. Help support a family who has given endless support to the community over the years.

Rusty Goulet, son of Sue and Lou, was injured in a snowmobile accident and while recovering in the hospital, their Mechanic Falls home caught on fire. The home is a total loss and they have no insurance.

There will be a spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; cost is $6 per person and kids under 10 are $3. Then from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., there will be a dance with a DJ, great raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Advance tickets should be purchased for the dance and are $10 per person or $16 per couple. Tickets can be purchased at the following Mechanic Falls locations: NAPA, Textures, Legion Post 150 and Better Than Average Cafe. For more information, contact 576-7047.
