Finnish classes are offered

WEST PARIS — Finnish language classes for beginners and intermediates will be held at the Finnish-American Heritage Center on 8 Maple Street in West Paris, on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning on April 6, and running through May 11. Marja-Leena Bailey and Aire-Maija Schwann will be the instructors.

Registration is required by March 17, and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A textbook "Beginner's Finnish" by Agi Risko is required and available on Amazon. One may also choose to include the cost with their registration fee and the book will be ordered for you. For more information, contact Dale Piirainen at 674-5539 or Barbara Payne at 743-5677.
