PARIS – Abbie Earle is an active 13 year old always on the go.  However, she finds the time to enjoy her life and her family as well as keeping up with her school work.

Q:  Who are your parents?

A:  Glenn Earle and Johanna Shaw

Q:  Do you have any brothers and sisters?

A:  Yes, a sister named Izabel.

Q:  Do you have any pets and what are their names?

A:  I have a guinea pig named Squeaker and a cat named Mr. Charles.

Q:  Where do you go to school?

A:  Oxford Hills Middle School.

Q:  What do you like best about school?

A:  Social studies and math.

Q:  What do you like least about school?

A:  How long the day seems to drag on.

Q:  What is your favorite thing to do?

A:  I like to draw and listen to music.

Q:  What is your favorite food?

A:  My favorite food, I’d have to say is tacos.

Q:  What is your favorite holiday and why?

A:  My favorite holiday, I think, would have to be the 4th of July.  I say that because it’s a very relaxed day, it’s not like Thanksgiving or anything where the second you wake up your preparing for the day.  I also like it because it’s in the summer and it’s warm.  I love summer.

Q:  Have you ever traveled outside the State of Maine?

A:  Yes, I have.

Q:  Where did you go?

A:  I go to Vermont often, but besides that I’ve been to Virginia, Kentucky, Washington D.C., and all the states in between.

Q:  Where would you like to go if you could go anywhere in the world?

A:  I think, if I could go anywhere in the world, I’d like to go to Iceland.

Q:  If you could be anything you wanted, what would you be when you grow up?

A:  I’d be a defense attorney.  My reasoning for that is, I don’t like how prosecutors give you facts and evidence, and show you what anyone could guess.  But, I like how defense attorneys take the evidence and twist it to paint a picture of what could have happened instead.

Q:  Do you have a favorite book or books?

A:  My favorite book is The Pact by Jodi Picoult

Q:  What is your favorite television show?

A:  Either Raising Hope or One Tree Hill

Q:  Do you have any hobbies?

A:  I don’t think so.

Q:  Do you have a favorite song?

A:  How to Save A Life by The Fray

Q:  Who is your best friend?

A:  Vincent

Q:  What is special about you?

A:  people always tell me I always look happy, and I’m really funny and fun to be around.  I also know how to sit and listen, respectfully, even if I disagree with what you’re saying.

Q:  Do you have a special wish?

A:  I wish people could stop struggling.  Whether it’s with money, or a job, or mental stuff going on in your head.

Q:  Do you have any heroes?

A:  My aunt is one of my heroes.  She’s always good at staying strong even when there’s something wrong.  Or she’s good at keeping a straight face when it’s inappropriate to laugh.
