Would you like to see passenger rail service here?

Photo:

Yeah, why not. I think a lot of people would use it.

Yes, because my boys are crazy about trains. I want to go to Boston and make a day of it. It might be a fun thing to do [around here] every now and then.

Sure, I would use it. It would fix the congested traffic we have around here.

Absolutely. We need it badly. I love rail travel. I would use it.

Yeah, I don't see why not. I would use it until I get a vehicle. I use Amtrak in Boston when I see my sister at her school.

Yeah, trains are fun and they save time. You can also go from town to town without freezing. The bus and taxi services around here are horrible. It's good for the homeless, too.

I'd probably support it because I have a business over in South Paris. Passenger rail would help people get there and help economic development. Anything like that would be a great idea.

Absolutely. I don't know how much I'd use it for longer trips, but it would be great for commuting to Lewiston-Auburn. Especially with the price of gas up the way it is it would be more economical and efficient than driving this beast of a truck.

Yeah, I would use it to go to Montreal. Public transportation is a good idea. It gets a couple cars off the road and burns a little less fossil fuel.

I think it's a good idea. We're thinking about the same thing in New Hampshire, because the main auto route [I-93] is getting too congested. It's been too long since we've had rail service, so I think this is a good time to restart it.
