Relay for Life kickoff event set

OXFORD HILLS — Relay For Life of Oxford Hills is having its Kick-Off on Monday, February 25, at 6 p.m at the Four Seasons Function Center in South Paris.

Anyone wishing to learn more about Relay For Life or wanting to participate in some way is welcome! Plans for this year's Relay For Life will be announced at the Kick-Off event.

Last year this team event raised nearly $40,000 for research, treatment and programs to aid individuals and families dealing with cancer. At this Kick-Off event, teams can sign up, individuals can volunteer, survivors can get support and businesses can learn about sponsorships and more.

Relay For Life of Oxford Hills will be held Saturday, June 15 through Sunday morning, June 16 at the Gouin Field in South Paris. Last year nearly 300 participants with nearly 20 teams and nearly 50 cancer survivors participated in this important fundraiser.
