Ministry has moved
PARIS — Alpha & Omega Ministries Inc. has just completed moving its 24-foot by 60-foot double wide from its former location, 29 Brown Street at the NPSW transfer station, to its new location at 527 Park Street in South Paris. The two shops can be found just three miles north of Market Square on busy Route 26.
The sales space has doubled and it’s easy to access with plenty of parking space to enter the Alpha & Omega Thrift Shop or the newly added Furniture Depot. The ministry has expanded days and hours of operation to better serve the community.
It has added a new camping section and expanded its hardware department for those items needed or forgotten on the way to camp.
A lease was signed on this new two-and-a-half-acre piece of property November 1, with a vision, mission and goal. The staff and volunteers have been diligently working nonstop remodeling a two-bay garage into a receiving area and added a top rate furniture depot where it will carry new and gently used furniture, couches, chairs, tables and chairs, beds, dressers, appliances, washers, dryers, televisions, electronics, geriatric supplies, antiques and much more.
Alpha & Omega Thrift Shop has expanded hours of operation. They are still closed Mondays, but are accessible by phone to Bert at 515-3000 or the Volunteer coordinator, Janice Davis, at 744-0204. They are now open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday afternoons 1-5 p.m.
To reintroduce their regular customers and new ones to Alpha & Omega Ministries Inc. stores they are giving $2 coupons to be used on the first two visits, good toward a $5 or more per day, per customer visit at the A. & O. Thrift Shop or A. & O. Furniture Depot.
