Cribbage tourney

NORWAY — A senior project fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 16, at the American Legion Post 82 in Norway. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the game starts at 2 p.m. The admission fee is $10 and the proceeds will go to Responsible Pet Care. There will also be beverages and snacks available.

Valentine's Dance

MECHANIC FALLS — A Valentine’s Dance featuring Cold Blue Steel will be held Saturday, February 16 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Mechanic Falls American Legion Post 150. Cost is $5 per person. There will be a Social Hour at 7 p.m. with snacks included.

St. Patrick’s Dance

GREENWOOD — A St. Patrick’s Day Dance with the Rockin’ Roadrunner will be held Saturday, March 16 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Jackson Silver Post 68, 595 Gore Rd. in Greenwood. Doors open at 7 p.m. Cost is $8 for single and $15 for couple. This is a BYOB event; those attending must be 21 years of age. Pre-sale tickets may be purchased at the Greenwood Town office or by calling Missy at 393-7719 and save $1 per ticket. This benefits the Greenwood Fire Auxiliary, Greenwood Fire and Jackson Silver Post 68 Auxiliary.

Suppers

WATERFORD — The Wilkins Community House will hold a community potluck supper on Thursday, February 21 at 6 p.m. All are welcome! The Community House is located in Waterford Flat on Plummer Hill Road behind the village green next door to the church. Community suppers are held on the third Thursday of each month through May. The hosts for this supper are Meg Wheeler and Karen O’Brian. Bring a friend and a dish to share and enjoy chatting with new friends and neighbors.

NORWAY — The Norway Fire Department will hold a public roast turkey supper on Saturday, February 16 from 5 to 6 p.m. with all the fixings and pies for dessert. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under and free for children under six. Organizers are open to any suggestions to help the suppers to be a better experience for all. Please write them down and leave with the cashier on your way in.

Breakfast 

HARRISON — The Ronald St. John VFW Post, on the Waterford Road in Harrison, will be holding its popular breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, February 17, at the Post on Rt. 35. The breakfast features scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, home fries, fruit cups, sweet breads, orange juice and beverage. Donations will be accepted.
