Students, seniors enjoy social

INTERGENERATIONAL — Konnor Thurston and Billy Carrol help seniors with a Word Search puzzle. Thirteen of Mrs. Jamie Toohey’s 6th grade class from the Harrison School volunteered to help out during Harrison Parks and Recreation February Senior Social/Luncheon. The students chatted with the seniors, played Trivia Persuit and word games, mazes, Bingo, ate lunch together, decorated cupcakes as well as helped serve and cleanup. It was a most wonderful experience for both generations. Plans are in place for more 6th graders to help with the April and May socials.
