Brown to speak at Lincoln Day dinner

PARIS — The Oxford County Republican Committee is pleased to announce its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, February 16, with special guest speaker former Massachusetts Republican Senator Scott Brown.

The event will take place at the Four Seasons Function Center in South Paris beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets for the event are $45 and include a full buffet dinner and a copy of Scott Brown’s book “Against All Odds.”

Senator Brown will also be available to sign each book and will speak about his insights on Republican politics. Tickets can be purchased by logging onto the Oxford County Republican website at oxfordcountygop.org or by calling Kathleen Jackson at 890-7585.

Also attending and speaking at the dinner will be Assistant Minority Leader Alex Willette of Mapleton, who is the youngest to be elected to leadership in the Maine House of Representatives.

He will be speaking about the importance of youth in government. The Oxford GOP is also excited to welcome Maine Humorist Gary Crocker who has been entertaining people for years with his Maine stories.
